An In person 2 day course that covers anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, assessment and treatment of BPPV, peripheral hypofunctions, and central vestibular disorders.
Course Outline
The course is excellent for beginners and intermediate learners. It covers anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology of the vestibular system and applies this information to understanding vestibular disorders.Ā
The course then follows a therapy assessment with chart review, history, questionnaires, medical testing, bedside tests, BPPV assessment and balance testing.Ā
Day two focuses onĀ treatment of the various types of vestibular disorders. goal writing, billing, and case examples.
There is plenty of lab time and lots of review built into the class. The goal is for any therapist to leave confident in their ability to perform a vestibular assessment and to treat appropriately or know when further action is necessary.Ā

Custom videos will be used to assist with understanding anatomy and BPPV. These proprietary videos are unlike anything that is currently available for learning.Ā
Hands On Lab
Many of these skills are best taught with practice. There will be 2 instructors present to assist with lab.
